Deep Linking in a YouTube Video

Want to jump to a specific point in a movies timeline on YouTube? Now you can. Just add #t=3m40 to the URL. So for instance, if you were to link to a YouTube video, you could do something like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNVDzUqvQD4#t=0m20

The video will now start 20 seconds into the video. This only works when linking to a YouTube video, this does not work when embedding a video.

Candle Wicks, Marvels of Engineering

Bet you didn’t know how advanced candle wicks are. Check this out. This guy demonstrates just how advanced they really are by showing that when you blow out a candle and you see what looks like smoke, it isn’t really smoke at all. It’s tiny particles of wax, which you can re-ignite with flame. Jump to 3:40 to see exactly what I’m talking about.

Beef Bologna

I’m surprised at how many people have never heard of this song or the band Fear. For some unknown reason the lyrics just popped into my head today while working so I sent a portion of the lyrics to my wife over IM. All I got back was “WTF?” So I sent part of the lyrics to my friend Frakes and all I got back was “well good for you”

So I guess I’m the only one who listened to some 80’s punk?
